We celebrated Baby Z's 1st birthday today (actual bday is 9/15). We had a party with some close family members, plus her brother, his foster mom, and some of our DCF friend's as well to mark this special occassion.
We did it up Baby Shark style, as it is one of her favorite's right now. We had pizza, salad, cake, gifts, and most of all a lot of fun. Luckily it was a perfect fall day weather-wise too, so we got to enjoy the outdoors versus being cooped up indoors.
As you can see below, she loved her cake. She started with her hands, then a face plant into the slice, then grabbed and shoved the entire piece almost into her little mouth. The video is awesome, and if you witnessed it live even better.
Best of all she felt loved by so many people today.
