Baby Z ventured to the beach today with us. We had quite the set-up thanks to Kevin, including a sun shelter with our 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a bobby on a blanket for her, plus a large sand cloud tie dyed blanket with a colorful umbrella, stocked cooler, beach bag with essentials, and more!
We knew we would have something to share after today, but you never know how your experience will unfold as new parents until it hits you.
Well, today included Baby Z:
-Peeing through her diaper, well actually her swimie and bathing suit onto the boppy lounger
-Screaming, which she rarely does, alerting the entire beach she was not happy but instead very "hangry"
-Pooping as soon as she returned to the beach to play, alot
-Finally getting into a cool sand seat Kevin concocted for her to then dive into the sand using her new sand toys and of course her hands & feet... oh and yes it was all over her including on her face and in her mouth and eyes by the end, but happy to report she was cooler with it all than we were - no cries at all!
-And then a much needed rinse off or really a hose down before heading to the pool for a dip.
All in all a good day for her as she knows we have her back when it comes to diapers, food, and fun.
Now we are off to get ready for some dinnertime and playtime on our deck.
