Baby Z went to daycare this week in a nearby town. This is my last week before my 6 month leave, so needed some help during the day. She got to see new places and new faces though, and of course she stole some hearts along the way too.

She got to enjoy some new and old things like a walk downtown, naps, laughs, smiles, & even some tummy time.

We have noticed her growth, which is a great sign.

She is grasping things more, like her rattles and stuffies - yeah we bought her some treats and she got some gifts from family & friends recently too. Little milestones are so exciting. She really loves to kick & punch these days too (we have the videos to prove it), and we get her pumped up via words or a song including "kick it" the intro from a Beastie Boys song (Fight For Your Right) to get her going too. We are a music-loving family, so she needs to get used to our singing. She also is amazed by sounds, so we have been making different, silly sounds like buzzing and farting noises to make her giggle. Oh her laugh... it is the best.

But, we also sadly experienced some tummy issues too, mostly gas, which did not make her happy. However, once it passed, she was back to her self again.
