My leave started this week and with that came quality time together & lots of appointment scheduling.
Baby Z is behind on her vaccines and check-ups, so I just scheduled all of them. We are getting her caught up on vaccines per DCF and state rules, but luckily are spreading them out so she does not have to have them all on 1 shot so to speak. I will be at the Doctor's office for the next 3 weeks, then after a week back again for 3 weeks to get her covered.
She also has to have a Pediatric Cardiology appointment to see what is going on with her heart murmer too.
This week, we balanced some at home time with some on the road time doing errands like grocery shopping and the like, and ended the week with a family day on Friday. Kevin took the day off and we spent more time together which included exploring in her stroller many things like a park in nearby Pittsfield and then Williamstown. We ventured into a really cool toy and gift shop where we scored some cool finds and then ended the day with ice cream first then dinner second (for us anyways). She was pretty good during our Thai dinner at Blue Mango, where we took turns while each other ate, followed by changing her in the back of the car. Now we really feel like parents.
Stay tuned for more adventures from The Smiths & Baby Z.
