Baby Z has been under the weather this weekend. It started yesterday with coughing, sneezing, and congestion - poor little thing.
We had plans for some close friends - Wendi, Wayne, Hope & Rich, to stop by for a summer picnic outside and were lucky enough to have it.
We figured, since we went to urgent care already, some fresh air and fun company would be a good distraction from her feeling a bit off.
We grilled and enjoyed some catching up outside and Baby Z had not only a large blanket to roll on, but her new activity seat/table, and of course the laps of friends especially Wendi, who could not get enough of her.
Baby Z, although sick, was still doing things like smiling and kicking which was a good sign to us. She even scored some new outfits and a cute hedgehog toy from Wendi & Wayne too.
Next time, we will visit the 4 of them in their neck of the woods - CT - our old stomping grounds, later this summer.
