Baby Z experienced an in-ground pool for the first time today. She seemed to love it, although it was kind of hard to tell as there were minimal smiles. She just lounged and seemd like she was totally chillin' in her awesome new flamingo floatation device - lazy river style. We hung out in the water nearby, to keep her safe and entertain her as well. It was fun seeing her splish splash a bit as she got more used to being in the water too.
We plan on spending more time at the pool this year as it is easier than being beach bound with a baby (more to come on that topic soon). It will also give us a chance to meet other families that are staying at the same site as us too.
The only downfall of the pool is there is no shade. Luckily we loaded her up with sunblock and her floaty has a sun cover as well. But, for us, it was hot and hence why most of the pool time was spent actually in the pool versus just on a lounger.
Now, we are off to get ready for dinner before we wind down for the night.
