Poor Baby Z. She is sick... again! Ugh it is so hard on her, but also us as we can only do so much and she looks so sad and miserable.
We went to the Doctor and this time it is not only a Rhinovirus aka standard cold, but RSV to boot, which is a respiratory infection common in little ones. This round was rough on us all for sure.
At one point, she was sadly playing on the kitchen floor after eating and vomiting a bit, and looked up at me slowly shaking her rattle with the saddest baby face among tears, boogies, and a bit of drool.
I scooped her up and just held her, but again it is tough to console a baby when really there is not much we can do other than have it run its course and continue with naps, nebulizer treatments, liquids, and the like.
Her is to better days ahead, although I know babies at this stage get ill quite often due to their developing immune system.
