Exciting milestone day here. Baby Z can officially sit up on her own now. It just happened to be honest. Althouogh, she still has not mastered the weight impact on her side or backwards motion just yet, she has nailed the front sit-up position.
This new position got her so excited, so this week we have spent a ton of time on her new cushioned mat, which helps when she topples over. But no worries, she just pivots or rolls until I help her back on up.
She got a new set of fun colorful, texturized balls to play with just in time for her sitting up phase. This also allows her to spend more time with some other new gifts like her educational, light-up, musical hedgehog from some close friends of ours.
It is so true what they say. Enjoy the time as they grow up so fast. It has only been 3.5 months since she joined our family and it is amazing how much she has grown. It is great to see, but we just want to hit pause as this age is the best we have heard. And, well, we so far tend to agree. Soon she will be crawling and walking, and we will of course be proud and even more tired too.
