Baby Z had some exciting visits this week. Friday we met with our DCF Family Resource Worker and Sunday we chatted it up with her DCF Investigator aka Emergency Social Worker, who initially placed her with us.
It was great to see them both, but also have them see her with us and in our home, where she has her own room, crib, lots of toys, and of course tons of love to make her happy too.
Our Family Resourse Worker will visit us monthly, while the Investigator was not a required visit, but she just wanted to stop by and see her and how we were also doing as new foster parents.
It was a great couple days, followed by typical daily things like a trip to get some groceries and then settling down for some family time. It was unseasonably cold for this time of year, so were all cozy under blankets. We hope things turn back around soon though... brrrrrr.
