Baby Z and the two of us are off for a week's vaction in nearby Cape Cod. We love it there and typically go every summer. It is a relaxing, easy vacation spot as I have gone most every year since I was a child myself.
We are excited to see how she enjoys a break from the norm and all the new experiences that come along with a beach/pool focused vacation with just the two us with her - day in and day out.
We probably should have gotten an earlier start, but we were out the door by around 8:15 am "ish" and should be there in a few hours (pending traffic).
Our plan is to see Falmouth on the way in and grab a bite perhaps in Hyannis, which is what we normally do (Tropical Smoothie - yum), before we check into our condo in Dennisport.
When we arrive, we plan on unloading once we get her settled in to ensure one of us is always with her as we cart the larger than usual load in and get it all in place.
