Baby Z got to enjoy lots of family time this weekend, meeting my aunt, Uncle, and Cousin, plus some time out with just us 3. We explored a local town arts & craft fair, then headed back to plant some flowers, and then the 3 of us hit up our local beachy area.
I am not one to dive into our lake, but Kevin was all for it (it was a hot one), so we got the baby all set with her sunblock and cute, new strawberry 2-piece bathing suit and headed down the block.
Kevin took his solo dip first to shock his system, then took the baby in. She kicked at first, as it was a new experience, but quickly changed her tune as it was a bit cold, so she began to cry. A short-lived, water time for us all, but still exciting to see her experience all her firsts with us.
Next time, maybe the water will be warmer or at least she will be more into seeing what the lake is all about.
We ventured back home and enjoyed an evening at home. She was happy but pooped after a long weekend of fun for sure.
