Well, we are getting closer to becoming foster parents. We received a couple calls over the past week (one of which we sadly missed), but just nothing panned out due to various reasons including DCF needing coverage same day during work hours (tough when we are both still working). But, this progress is getting us excited for what is to come and soon.
I know, I know. our lives will change, but we are looking forward to becoming foster parents and giving a child in need the love they so deserve.
So, for now we wait for the call that will bring us so much joy and hopefully mend the heart of a new baby girl.
